At the very basic core, functional fitness is any exercise designed to improve daily activity. These exercises train your muscles to work together and get the muscles conditioned to perform daily tasks by simulating common movements in anything that you do.

Functional fitness is considered full body training. It’s very common to be working the lower body and upper body at the same time. As a result of this, your core becomes extremely strong and stable; giving you the strength to do almost anything throughout your busy day.
